Project Estimator
As Estimator you will need to review and examine the requirements of each tender, complete all documentation as well as pricing the project from start to finish, and undertaking a risk assessment.
Project Manager
As a Project Manager it is your responsibility to plan and set up new projects. Your time will be split between being on site and working in the office.
Site Supervisor
As a Site Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the construction site.
You will need to order materials and track deliveries, supervise trades and subcontractors, read and interpret plans and work to a site programme.
Leading Hand
As a Leading Hand you will follow a construction programme and are responsible for all site set-out. You will work hands-on with your fellow workers whilst organising and directing trades as instructed by the Site Supervisor. You will also be responsible for keeping site records up to date.
Qualified Carpenter
Once you are a qualified Carpenter you will be responsible for reading and interpreting plans and specifications, and using tools, power tools and materials to undertake set-out and fit-out of new commercial builds as directed by the leading had and site supervisor.
Carpentry Apprenticeship
4 years hands on learning on our GRIFFIN construction sites in conjunction with 6 training blocks undertaken at CQUniversity. On completion of the 4 year course you will be awarded with a Certificate III in Carpentry from CQUniversity.
