GRIFFIN Group are excited to announce that Construction Documentation for our latest development, LOFT, is now underway. So what does this mean?
Construction documentation is the final phase of building planning, prior to construction commence. It includes a set of documents with the approved design and all of the different disciplines within the design team integrated into a single plan.
What are the components of Construction Documents?
The Construction Documents contain contract forms, conditions of the contract, specifications and drawings. Tender requirements are also produced during this phase. Stringent contractor qualifications are delineated, ensuring that only contractors with a proven track record will be prequalified to bid.
Why are they important?
Construction Documents are what governs the construction of the project and are translated into the technical language of the contractors. Construction drawings are used by the contractors to build the required components as intended by the architect and the developer.
Construction documents are rarely revised, as the designs are finalised in this stage. Unless a serious design flaw presents itself, the construction documents are treated as the final documents and followed down to every detail.
What comes next?
Once the design and construction documentation is finalised, building is ready to commence! With our high enquiry rate and record-breaking pre-sale rate, LOFT is on track to commence construction in 2021.
Be quick to secure your special off-the-plan price because once we start building, our sharp off-the-plan prices will no longer be available and will most likely rise! Contact our executive sales agents, Jacinta Swart and David Bell at Ray White Rockhampton today.
